At present we have a choice of sessions per week including social, road running, hill reps, track training

Mondays @ 6:30pm Heath Rugby Club, West Vale, HX4 8LS
Usually two groups, a steady group doing 5 - 6 miles and Intermediate group 1 doing around 6 miles - click here for map.
Hill training - Hills are a great way to build up your speed endurance. Two groups, long and short hills led by our coaches

Tuesdays @ 1885 Pub/Restaurant car park, Stainland, HX4 9HF
Option 1 @ 6.15pm Later group, around 5-6 miles at 10-11 min/miles pace and is a mix of trail and road
Option 2 @ 6.30pm Savile Park, Halifax, meeting opposite the Lodge fish and chip shop HX3 0EG 6 to 7 miles at around 10 min/miles pace

Wednesdays @ 6:30pm Track sessions at Springhall Track, Huddersfield Rd, Halifax with our qualified coaches.
These are structured sessions but can be joined at any time.Spring Hall is a modern, floodlit facility paid for by tax payers and Stainland Lions members - who contributed initially towards the facility
Free parking & toilets
Usually takes 90 minutes
There is a charge of £2.50 as we have to pay the council to use the track

Thursdays @ 6:30pm Main club night from Heath Rugby Club, West Vale.
Usually four groups from 5.5 miles at 12 min/mile to 7.5 miles at 9 min/mile
If you fancy something different to tarmac then some lovely, scenic off road trail runs are available too so please bring appropriate footwear, and maybe a clean dry pair of shoes for afterwards! Usually 6 miles
These will be advertised on the club app and Facebook page so keep an eye out
And when the nights draw in...don't forget your Hi-Viz top and headtorch!
Note; usually on the second Thursday of the month we train away from our usual base at another venue, normally a pub. Checkout the Away Runs page for details.
